What This Feature is About

This feature provides dynamically calculated Take Profit (TP) Levels to help traders lock in gains and optimize their strategies. Using the ATR (Average True Range) indicator, it generates three take profit levels tailored to market conditions:

  • TP 1: Closest target for conservative gains.
  • TP 2: Intermediate target for balanced risk-reward.
  • TP 3: Farthest target for maximum potential profit.

These levels are calculated automatically for each trade signal and displayed as:

  • The take profit price.
  • The percentage difference from the current price in brackets (e.g., 105 (5%)).

Background: What is ATR?

The Average True Range (ATR) is a widely used technical indicator that measures market volatility.

  • It calculates the average price range of a token over a specified number of periods (default: 14).
  • A higher ATR indicates higher volatility, while a lower ATR reflects a more stable market.

By incorporating ATR, the take profit levels adapt to the token’s volatility, providing realistic and dynamic profit targets based on market conditions.

How We Calculate the Take Profit Levels

1. Determine the ATR:

ATR is the moving average of the True Range (TR):

TR = \max(\text{High} - \text{Low}, |\text{High} - \text{Previous Close}|, |\text{Low} - \text{Previous Close}|)

This accounts for the largest price movement during each period.

2. Calculate the Take Profit Levels:

For Bullish (Long) trades:

  • TP 1: Latest Price + (1 × ATR)
  • TP 2: Latest Price + (2 × ATR)
  • TP 3: Latest Price + (3.5 × ATR)

For Bearish (Short) trades:

  • TP 1: Latest Price - (1 × ATR)
  • TP 2: Latest Price - (2 × ATR)
  • TP 3: Latest Price - (3.5 × ATR)

How to Use This Feature

2. Interpret the Information:

  • TP 1: Closest target for conservative profit-taking.
  • TP 2: Balanced target for moderate gains.
  • TP 3: Farthest target for traders seeking maximum profit.
